Your Challenge:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This multi-modality role specializes in MRI and IGT Surgery, with responsibilities including maintaining and developing robust customer relationships and providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the wider organization to provide exceptional service to customers, including corrective and preventative maintenance, commissioning, and installation of equipment and software upgrades.
  • Participate in the sales process and provide expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of customer relationships.
  • Manage and support technical escalations through to resolution, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on progress according to company process.
  • Provide best-in-class service to customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment.
  • Determine the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge through continual training and development, keeping up-to-date with new technologies relevant to the area of focus.
  • The role will normally be located in Brisbane QLD, with occasional requirements to work at alternative locations.

We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A degree-level education or equivalent in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Experience in service, maintenance, and/or installation activities in relevant Medical Device Industries, Equipment Manufacturers, Service Companies, Public Health Systems, or the Armed Forces.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A Restricted Electrical License or the ability to obtain one within the first six months of employment.
  • A full AU driver's license.
