Job Overview

Sidney Health Center is seeking a highly skilled Lead Purchasing Clerk to join our team in the materials management setting.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage inventory needs, maintain records and payments, and ensure efficient purchasing processes.

  • This position plays a critical role in supporting patient care and hospital operations by ensuring essential supplies are available, inventory is accurately managed, and purchasing processes are compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Handles the purchasing process, creating purchase orders, tracking orders from start to finish, and adhering to company purchasing rules.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and collaborating with the team to optimize inventory management.
  • Manages financial aspects, including paying invoices on time, maintaining up-to-date purchase records, and preparing reports as required.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field would be advantageous.
