
Acute Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team in the Northern Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with varying degrees of complexity, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced therapist to work in a fast-paced environment, utilising their expertise to deliver evidence-based practice and contribute to service development. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
About the Role- Deliver individualised rehabilitation programs to patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to service development
- Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation therapy, preferably in an acute setting
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
