Contract Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our client's growing team. This is a Perth-based, permanent role suited to someone confident navigating procurement, subcontractor management, and project cost control within a fast-paced project environment.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a Contract Administrator role within the commercial construction industry, with exposure to multi-level apartment projects highly desirable. They will possess a strong understanding of construction programming and financial reporting, as well as the ability to manage supplier relationships and subcontractor performance.

  • Administer contracts from early works through to completion and maintenance
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate subcontractor packages
  • Prepare accurate take-offs and negotiate quotes
  • Evaluate contract compliance, manage variations, and process progress claims
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to maintain budget and timelines
  • Generate monthly cost reports and track project cash flow
  • Support ongoing quality, safety, and performance objectives
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a Contract Administrator role within the commercial construction industry
  • Exposure to multi-level apartment projects highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of construction programming and financial reporting
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and subcontractor performance
  • High level of attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a structured team environment with clear processes and expectations
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or related fields
