Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Open Pit Specialist to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide geotechnical support services to assist in achieving development and production targets while meeting quality standards.
  • Collect and analyze geotechnical data, including rock fall events and ground control issues.
  • Undertake daily production tasks related to geotechnical engineering, including mine plans and documentation of inspections.
  • Actively identify and manage geotechnical risks and develop systems for monitoring and management.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnics, Mining Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in Geotechnical Engineering, preferably in an open-cut mining environment.
  • Familiarity with the Rocscience Software suite and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
  • Membership of a reputable industry association (CP preferred) and possession of a valid driver's licence.
