Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a diverse group of professionals in maintaining the reliability and availability of equipment and assets across the site.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, leveraging your expertise in maintenance planning, coordination, and execution to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery during specific shifts or periods.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical trade qualifications, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role or similar. They will be able to prioritize work orders by equipment criticality, safety, and production needs, while driving continuous improvement to enhance processes and reduce downtime.

This role offers a unique chance to develop and manage maintenance schedules, oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, and supervise a team of 8 during the shift. The successful candidate will also perform inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues and requirements, conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures or reliability issues, and ensure maintenance and safety compliance systems and documentation are actioned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 8 in maintenance efforts to ensure reliability and availability of equipment and assets.
  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules to optimize equipment uptime and minimize disruption to production.
  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and supervise the team during the shift.
  • Perform inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues and requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures or reliability issues.
  • Ensure maintenance and safety compliance systems and documentation are actioned.
Requirements
  • Mechanical/Electrical Trade Qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a Supervisory role or similar.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control.
  • Experience with Maintenance Planning Systems using Mex or similar systems.
