Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts to load, unload and move materials around the construction site.
  • Transport heavy building materials such as pallets, steel, concrete and other construction supplies.
  • Perform daily checks and maintenance of equipment including fuelling and reporting any issues.
  • Ensure safe loading, unloading and stacking of materials to avoid accidents or product damage.
  • Assist with receiving and distributing materials to the designated areas on-site.
  • Help with loading and unloading delivery trucks.
  • Organise materials in storage areas to ensure easy access for tradespeople and other site workers.
  • Perform general labour tasks such as digging, lifting and carrying materials.
  • Assist in site clean-up, ensuring the area is free of debris, tools and hazardous materials.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to construction schedules and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a forklift operator is required.
  • Construction safety certification.
  • Any other relevant health and safety certification.
  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction or industrial setting.
