The Opportunity
You will be responsible for leading the equipment asset integrity and reliability activities for Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia at our customer site at Maules Creek Mine Site.
You will be based in Gunnedah and assist in developing OEM reporting to capture the accurate assessment of infield maintenance requirements ensuring timely delivery of the right solutions to the Client Maules Creek Coal. Your other duties will be
- Review proposed upgrades and work procedures to ensure current business, site safety practices and requirements are included.
- Provide technical advice to the operations and maintenance teams on asset integrity activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess maintenance practices & professionally monitor & refine maintenance plans & value add to preventative maintenance tasks
- Lead projects as required to sustain or improve Hitachi Mining Equipment maintenance & productivity performance
- Assist in the management and resolution of technical issues, primarily with mining equipment when required
About you
- Experience with Mobile Equipment maintenance within the Australian Mining Industry
- A good understanding of component failure analysis and assessment knowledge
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and engagement at operational levels
- Engineering qualifications in the relevant field would be preferred
- Significant asset management experience in the Coal & Iron Ore open cut mining industry
- Strong analytic, strategic, management and relationship skills
