The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims and Performance Manager to join our Home Claims Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice solutions, driving performance excellence, and ensuring the efficient management of claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the Home Claims Division's strategy, objectives, and operational plans.
  • Deliver performance outcomes relative to objectives and within the Company's frameworks for performance monitoring, measurement, and improvement.
  • Contribute to sustainable financial performance through prudent management of the approved budget, consistent with the Company's risk appetite.
  • Optimize available resources for service delivery, negotiate with stakeholders, and implement formal and informal systems for communication and key stakeholder relationships.
  • Implement the Company's risk management, governance, compliance, and accountability frameworks across all activities.
  • Support and strengthen the Auto & General brand and culture by modeling high standards of performance, influencing teams, and articulating the Company vision and objectives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in general claims management.
  • Strong experience managing financial systems, running targeted and ad-hoc reporting, and providing insightful forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including board paper development and reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and develop others.
  • Specific experience in the Banking, Finance & Insurance and/or Technology industry, with associated understanding and knowledge of regulatory and commercial requirements.
