Sydney, New South Wales, Australia beBeeReliability Full time $150,000 - $200,000

Our vision is to build the world's intelligence layer for professional relationships.

At Blinq, we're building a platform that remembers for you, prompts when it matters, and keeps you in play. If you want to be part of something massive, with the potential to drive meaningful impact, this could be the role for you.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you'll help lead the evolution of our infrastructure as we scale. You'll work alongside our existing SRE and platform engineers to design resilient systems, automate deployment processes, and refine our approach to monitoring and incident response. Your impact will shape the performance, uptime, and reliability of the platform powering millions of first interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure that scales with global usage
  • Define and track SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets and drive reliability improvements in partnership with product teams
  • Improve and extend our on-call practices, observability tooling, and incident response systems
  • Own our CI/CD architecture and deployment pipelines, optimising for speed, safety, and team autonomy
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks and proactively identify systemic risks
  • Champion best practices across engineering for fault tolerance, security, and performance
Requirements
  • 5+ years in an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role with deep understanding of distributed systems
  • Proven ability to scale systems in production environments, including experience with high-availability architectures
  • Expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and a sharp eye for what matters
  • Strong experience with CI/CD systems, containerisation, and cloud infrastructure (GCP and AWS preferred)
  • Familiarity with defining and managing SLOs and SLAs across complex systems
  • A collaborative, mentoring mindset — someone who thrives on unblocking and upskilling others
  • A strong sense of ownership and a bias toward continuous improvement
What You Get
  • Equity and a stake in the company's future success
  • Competitive salary and growth path
  • Generous paid time off and flexible policy beyond that
  • Parental leave that grows with you
  • Free food and snacks at some of our offices

Be part of shaping the future of professional relationships.
