Business Development Expert

The role involves developing and implementing business activities to assist vendors expand their business. This is a national position that encompasses reseller relationship management, account management, and development of new business opportunities.

  • Achieve or exceed vendor and company targets
  • Accurately forecast throughout the month and quarter
  • Provide customer service and sales support to all resellers when required
  • Develop comprehensive product and process knowledge for the represented vendor
  • Acquire and maintain vendor Sales Certifications as directed

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, possess professional communication skills, excellent presentation/training abilities, proactive orientation, and high levels of discipline, initiative, and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

Reseller Management: Manage and develop the reseller base, understand key personnel, and specific reseller needs. Be available to receive calls, respond to emails, and process requests.

Required Skills:

  • Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and foster positive relationships with internal staff and all levels of customer and vendor contacts
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
