Event Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at a dynamic university. As a certified B Corporation, we believe in the transformative power of education and strive to increase access to higher education.

This role will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and delivering events across the university. You will work closely with our National Events Manager to ensure each event runs smoothly and creates a memorable experience for students, staff, partners, and guests.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating end-to-end event logistics including venues, suppliers, staffing, run sheets and pack down.
  • Supporting the delivery of national and local events such as Open Days, Info Nights, Webinars, Orientation, and Welcome Weeks.
  • Providing administrative and operational support for national graduation ceremonies.
  • Liasing with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Assisting with pre-event promotion, guest management, registrations and post-event follow-up.
  • Capturing event attendance, feedback and outcomes to support reporting and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Preference for at least 3 years' experience coordinating or supporting events in a multi-campus or fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting large-scale events such as graduations, orientations or corporate functions.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • A proactive, service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel nationally as required.
