Ultrasound Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound exams and contributing to the delivery of person-focussed services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a full range of general ultrasound exams, including musculoskeletal, obstetric, and interventional imaging.
  • Evaluate request information and select the optimal protocol to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and contribution to the supervision or development of others.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, allocate workloads according to skills and competencies, and participate in department rosters.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in ultrasound and current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • A valid unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
