Health and Safety Expert

Job Description:

As a Health and Safety Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of employees and the community by preventing injuries and illnesses. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement sustainable practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address health and safety concerns.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety documentation, including instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and safety protocols.
  • Assist in emergency preparedness and response efforts.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Experience in coordinating and implementing health and safety initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications.
