Leading Health and Safety Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Specialist to lead the development and implementation of strategic health and safety programs that foster a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and manage policies, drive continuous improvement, and promote a culture of risk awareness and high-performance safety practices aligned with relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address health and safety risks, develop incident response strategies, and ensure effective adoption of initiatives across the organisation.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or related field, and/or relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, regulations and standards, and experience in providing expert advice and support within high-risk operational teams and environments.
The Department is responsible for improving liveability and prosperity through the creation of vibrant spaces, management of lands, assets and property, and delivery of affordable and diverse housing options.
