This position involves ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of workers at our construction sites. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in occupational health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control workplace hazards to prevent harm to workers.
- Develop and implement strategic health, safety, and wellbeing programs for all staff.
- Support workers who are injured or ill by providing rehabilitation services.
- Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist teams in monitoring trends and using lead and lag indicators to manage safety risks.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Cert IV in OHS/WHS qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience and/or role expertise.
- First Aid certification.
- Driver's License.
- Desirable skills include ICAM, Trainer and Assessor, Return to Work, Working at Heights, Confined Space training.
