Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

About Landcare NSW:

Landcare NSW is the representative body of the Landcare movement in NSW and the voice of community Landcare. We are a not-for-profit charity that works to protect, repair, regenerate, and change practice, as well as learn, share, and connect with our members and stakeholders.

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time position)

Job Description:

The Community Engagement Specialist will be responsible for managing multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail. They will have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent understanding of event and marketing/communications principles
  • Very good understanding and an affinity for new and social media promotions
  • Ability to learn online systems and project management software
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Photoshop)
  • Previous advertising/media/marketing agency experience
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
