About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at Riot Games. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to develop and implement publishing campaigns that drive brand presence and player engagement in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance Riot Games' presence and influence within the local gaming industry.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with local first-party console platform partners, third-party event organizers, and console platform companies.
  • Craft and execute strategies to bolster Riot Games' brand and community engagement through social media channels and community management.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key influencers and content creators in the region.
  • Oversee social media channels, ensuring effective moderation and fostering a positive, engaging community environment.
  • Monitor and analyze player feedback and community trends to inform content and engagement strategies.
  • Foster a vibrant and inclusive community culture that aligns with Riot Games' values and mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in social media, community, and influencer management.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming community in Australia and New Zealand.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with third-party event organizers and console platform companies.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with local Esports and gaming communities.

This role requires someone who is passionate about gaming, has excellent communication skills, and can work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
