Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our Global Retail Applications team. This role involves providing comprehensive support to our retail systems, working closely with Product Managers and Product Teams to develop existing systems and new retail developments.

The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining and administering Point of Sale systems, preferably with Cegid experience. They will also possess strong customer-service orientation, with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd-level support to our retail systems, managing incidents, problems, and changes through our Service Desk system.
  • Work with colleagues to monitor retail system operation, performance, and availability, and rectify any issues.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of key business functions, with a focus on both physical and online retail processes.
  • Coordinate external software vendors to perform investigations and assist in providing technical solutions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in maintaining and administering Point of Sale systems.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
