Night Services Agent Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Night Services Agent to join our team. As the all-rounder of the hotel, this role requires excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain public areas of the hotel and report any maintenance issues to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Assist guests with their enquiries in a timely manner, providing prompt and professional attention at all times.
  • Ensure hotel guests receive personalized recognition and a seamless experience during their stay.
  • Support the Food & Beverage Management team in responding to room service orders, preparing meals according to dietary requirements and delivering orders efficiently.
  • Ensure the security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety protocols.
  • Handle credit and financial transactions securely, adhering to IHG policies and procedures.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, prioritizing guest satisfaction and staff well-being.
  • Adhere to IHG policies concerning trade practices, gifts, bribery, data privacy and maintain accurate records, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Champion the identification and reporting of hazards, evaluate risks and design hazard control measures to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a hotel environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and build relationships with guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Food & Beverage related field preferred, but not essential.
  • Availability to work night shifts and flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Valid Western Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, demonstrating commitment to responsible serving practices.
  • Strong leadership skills, inspiring passion, enthusiasm and positivity within the team and driving results-oriented performance.
