Job Overview

As a Communications Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional end-user experiences by designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-wide communication systems.

This includes mobile and desktop voice, video, messaging, and collaboration platforms that enable seamless and secure communication across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain unified communication solutions including Microsoft Teams, Mobile Voice, Meeting Room Systems, and Desktop Telephony.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to UC infrastructure, including endpoints and network dependencies.
  • Provide technical support and perform fault analysis to identify and remediate repeating issues.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and support teams to ensure high availability, performance, and user satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has mastered at least one of the following technologies and is willing to get exposure to the remainder:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • Teams Telephony and Operator Connect
  • Teams Phone Handsets and Teams Meeting Room Devices
  • Powershell scripting and automation

Previous experience in Unified Communications or Mobility roles, along with excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, is highly desirable. Relevant Vendor Certifications are also a plus.
