Civil Design Engineer Role

Are you a skilled Civil Design Engineer looking for a challenging opportunity to showcase your expertise in urban development projects? This role involves working on a range of projects, including education, residential, mixed-use, and commercial sectors. You will be responsible for designing essential civil elements such as roads, stormwater systems, carparks, pavements, and driveways, as well as collaborating with engineers, clients, and architects to deliver project outcomes.

  • Project Delivery: Contribute to the delivery of civil works for urban development projects supporting buildings across various sectors.
  • Design Scope: Develop designs for roads, on-site detention (OSD), water-sensitive urban design (WSUD), stormwater/drainage systems, carparks, pavements, and driveways.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and support to junior engineers, contributing to their growth and development.
  • Career Growth: Supported by a strong senior management team, with opportunities to expand responsibilities and step into leadership roles as the team grows.
About You
  • You hold a degree in Civil Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in civil design engineering, gained in Australia.
  • You are confident in working autonomously while delivering high-quality design outcomes.
  • You possess strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with engineers, clients, and architects, and are committed to mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
  • You are proficient in MUSIC and DRAINS software, and familiar with AutoCAD, 12d, or Civil 3D is a bonus.
