
Urban Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Civil Designer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality engineering design solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering design input to landmark urban renewal projects, greenfield and infill land development projects. They will work closely with internal teams and external consultants to manage project requirements, and contribute to road design, built form and land development components focusing on the Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney regions.

Requirements- Upwards of 5 years of proven experience within engineering consultancies.
- Experience within the built environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experience in road design (TfNSW and local Council infrastructure) highly desirable.
- Experience in 12D and AutoCAD packages.
- Experience in stormwater design highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and goals autonomously.
- Understanding of local and state government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and compelling in managing external consultants.
- Creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and obstacles.
- Strong team ethic and ability to work collaboratively across functional groups.
