Civil Engineer Position

The Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a passion for the Built Environment to join our Newcastle team. Our team delivers complex projects across urban renewal / development and municipal infrastructure, including earthworks, storm water, sewer, water, pavements, and road design. As part of our Civil team, you will play a key role in delivering various built form and urban development projects, managing projects, and delivery of engineering investigation, assessment, and design and construction management documentation across multiple sectors.

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience within a tier 1 and/or tier 2 engineering consultancy
  • Minimum 3 to 5 post-graduate years of experience as a competent consulting engineer
  • Experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time, whilst working autonomously
  • Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of civil design software such as 12D Model and/or Civil 3D
