The role of a Civil Engineer involves delivering various built form and urban development projects, leveraging technical expertise to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering technically challenging projects across urban renewal / development and municipal infrastructure, with a focus on timely completion and budgetary efficiency.
- Managing projects, overseeing the delivery of engineering investigation, assessment, and design and construction management documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Designing roads, bulk earthworks, and drainage systems, applying knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
- Communicating project requirements to sub-consultants, contractors, architects, and developers, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
For this role, we seek an individual with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrated experience within a tier 1 and/or tier 2 engineering consultancy. A minimum of 3 to 5 post-graduate years of experience as a competent consulting engineer is required, along with experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage. Additionally, excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and strong team ethic are essential for success in this position.
