Lead Aged Care Strategist

This pivotal position involves overseeing the strategic direction of aged care services, including residential sites, independent living units and community-based services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of approximately 160 staff across multiple sites.
  • Provide strategic oversight of clinical and care standards, compliance, and accreditation.
  • Manage financial and resource management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Lead workforce, human resources, and organisational development across multiple sites and teams.
  • Engage stakeholders and the community, including advocacy for consumer-centred care and resident rights.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Executive leadership experience in aged care, health or human services with demonstrated ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong operational and financial management acumen, ensuring efficient service delivery and achievement of financial targets while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Qualifications as a Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and contemporary aged care service delivery models.
