About this Engineering Role

We are seeking experienced engineers to join our team in executing diverse utility and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • To design, certify, and deliver utility infrastructure projects.
  • Provide design expertise in alignment with utility-specific standards and regulations.
  • Manage the end-to-end design process, including site investigations, concept design, and detailed design.
  • Prepare essential documentation, including MOS, PDS, SER, EEL, AVS, and design safety reports.
  • Utilise Neara, AutoCAD, and other tools to develop designs for utility applications.
  • Conduct voltage drop calculations, earthing designs, and constructability assessments to meet compliance requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders and utilities to coordinate approvals and certification processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Build strong client relationships, representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise.

Requirements

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Membership with Engineers Australia or eligibility to apply.
  • 3-5 years of experience with a strong understanding of the ASP Level 3 process.
  • Familiarity with utility-specific standards and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Neara, SER processes, and software tools for electrical ASP L3 design.
  • Strong knowledge of design safety reports, voltage drop calculations, and compliance documentation.
  • Capability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • A history of delivering successful projects in the utilities and building services sector.
