As a skilled engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering mission-critical software solutions that make the power grid safer, greener and more resilient. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring and supporting complex systems that ensure safe and reliable performance.The RoleYou will work closely with customers to define project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering expertise. Your primary objective will be to design, build, integrate, test and commission power utility SCADA systems for energy transmission, generation or distribution utilities.Some key responsibilities include:
  • Defining project requirements through effective communication and application of engineering expertise.
  • Designing, building, integrating, testing and commissioning power utility SCADA systems.
  • Performing testing and resolving identified issues during factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and regression testing.
  • Assisting troubleshooting and continual improvement of our capability, including local staging and IT infrastructure, as well as delivery, training and support processes.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field of engineering.
  • Strong technical background in automation and computers with knowledge of C/C++, Python, relational databases, HTML and XML.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems to perform troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, reporting and planning skills.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights within Australia.
