Civil Engineering Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead plan production efforts for underground utilities. This key position is responsible for guiding the design group and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to oversee plan production efforts, guaranteeing timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, including local municipalities and contractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to integrate utility designs into comprehensive project plans, promoting seamless workflow and minimizing potential conflicts.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports and specifications, providing valuable insights and expertise to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate designs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, upholding industry best practices and protecting the company's reputation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT certification or equivalent experience.
  • P.E. license or actively pursuing P.E. licensure.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in utility design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software tools.
