We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an Agricultural Operations Coordinator at our Strahan site.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of physical tasks on the water and general farmhand duties. This is a hands-on position working a 7/7 roster with shift starts and ends on a Wednesday. You can expect to work 84 hours over the 7 days on duty.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Rope Tying: Mastering knots and ropes to assist in various operations such as securing cages and managing equipment.
  • Stock Protection Rigging: Responsible for rigging up protective measures to shield fish from external threats, ensuring their health and wellbeing.
  • Fish Care: From feeding to monitoring health, your dedication to fish care will contribute to high standards of welfare.
  • Environmental Protection Practices: Assist in implementing and adhering to rigorous environmental protection protocols, safeguarding ecosystems.
  • Inputting Nets: Skilfully inputting nets into designated areas, ensuring optimal conditions for fish growth and harvest.
  • General Labouring Duties: Embracing the nature of aquaculture with a variety of tasks that come with working on the water, including maintenance work and operational support.

  • To successfully pass an alcohol and drug test and pre-employment medical
  • To have a current drivers' licence
  • Coxswain ticket (desirable)
  • Diesel Endorsement (desirable)
