We're seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Niche Logistics, a leading national transport company with over 30 years of experience. This dynamic role will see you working closely with our sister company, GKR, to ensure smooth logistic operations on the ground.

As the sole representative of Niche within the GKR warehouse and offices, you'll be responsible for managing a range of transport and administrative tasks. This includes handling con notes, pallet documentation, and reconciling dockets, as well as operating a forklift and performing general admin tasks to support the operations team.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience with transport operations, preferably in a similar hands-on role. You'll also need to be able to handle pallet documentation and transport paperwork with ease, and have a strong understanding of logistic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transport allocations and ensure smooth logistics coordination.
  • Sort and organise paperwork, including transfer documents and consignment notes.
  • Collaborate with our sister company, GKR, to arrange truck dispatch.
  • Perform general admin tasks to support the operations team.
  • Operate a forklift and perform warehouse duties.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience with transport operations, preferably in a similar hands-on role.
  • Ability to handle pallet documentation and transport paperwork.
  • Transport smarts, with a strong understanding of logistic operations.
  • Administrative expertise, with a focus on organisation and documentation.
  • Hands-on experience, with a willingness to operate a forklift and perform warehouse duties.
