We are seeking a Marine Farmhand to contribute to the smooth operation of our Strahan site.



Key Responsibilities


  • Rope Tying: Assist in securing cages and managing equipment.
  • Stock Protection Rigging: Implement protective measures to safeguard fish health and wellbeing.
  • Fish Care: Provide dedicated care to fish, including feeding and health monitoring.
  • Environmental Protection Practices: Support the implementation of rigorous environmental protection protocols.
  • Inputting Nets: Skilfully input nets into designated areas to ensure optimal conditions for fish growth and harvest.


Requirements


  • Physical fitness and strength
  • Self-motivation and reliability as a team player
  • Enjoyment of working on the water
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Australia
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and alcohol and drug test
  • Current drivers' licence
  • Coxswain ticket (desirable)
  • Diesel Endorsement (desirable)
