Agricultural Technician

As an Agricultural Technician at Australian Country Choice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, nutrition, and welfare of our animals. Responsibilities include:

• Receiving and inducting animals into our feedlot, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing stress
• Monitoring animal health and providing timely interventions to prevent illness and disease
• Administering medication and treatments as required, in consultation with veterinary staff
• Operating equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, including heavy machinery and power tools
• Participating in general repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities

About you:

• You will have obtained an AQF Advanced Diploma or equivalent, or have 3 years of relevant experience
• You will be a self-motivated and positive team player, with a strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for delivering high-quality results
• You will have demonstrated experience handling cattle and managing livestock, with a focus on safety and efficiency
