Environmental Approvals Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised professional to join our Environmental Development team. This key role will be responsible for leading on environmental approvals such as clearing permits under state and federal legislation, as well as coordinating the City's Aboriginal heritage approvals.

  • Salary: $102,340 - $117,650 per annum
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Permanent full time position

As an Environmental Approvals Specialist, you will contribute to the City's strategic natural area management planning initiatives, working closely with colleagues to develop effective solutions that balance human needs with environmental sustainability.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental management and approvals, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and policies.

You will also have the opportunity to provide input into the development of innovative solutions that promote environmental stewardship and community engagement.
