Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive planning and environmental assessments (EIS, SSI, SSD, MID, REFs)
  • Build strong relationships with clients across public and private sectors
  • Contribute to winning work through compelling proposals and strategies
  • Lead, mentor, and help shape a positive team culture
  • Provide expert advice on major infrastructure projects in renewables, transport, water, and property
  • Collaborate with specialists across ecology, acoustics, land contamination, engineering, and design

Recent Projects Include:

  • Strategic environmental assessments of emerging renewable energy technologies such as offshore wind, pumped hydro, and hydrogen
  • Planning approvals for iconic infrastructure projects including the Beaufort Bypass, Inland Rail, and large-scale energy transition projects like EnergyConnect and the Central West Orana REZ
  • Supporting the rollout of Fast Rail initiatives and Zero Emissions Bus transitions

About You

Are you passionate about planning and approvals? Do you have a strong track record of delivering great outcomes for clients and communities?

You will likely bring:

  • 3–15 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals
  • Proven experience leading or contributing to major projects and approval strategies
  • A sound understanding of Queensland's environmental assessment frameworks and planning legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage or support complex, multidisciplinary projects
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in mentoring others
  • A team-first mindset and drive to grow with us
