Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join our client's dynamic team. This newly created role presents an opportunity to build upon your solid knowledge of employment law and HR advisory support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the delivery of daily P&C operations
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies, modern awards, employment laws, and enterprise agreements
  3. Contribute to a wide range of P&C projects and activities
  4. New employee inductions
  5. Provide expert advice on the interpretation and application of employment contracts, relevant awards, enterprise agreements and legislation
  6. Coaching and guidance to people leaders on people management practices
  7. Support the development of leadership and employee experience through training needs analysis and training delivery
  8. Involvement across ER matters including disciplinary cases, investigations and making sound recommendations
  9. Collaborate across the P&C team, with payroll and across the organisation to ensure all P&C objectives are met
  10. Quarterly travel to operational sites to improve stakeholder relationships, insights into specific business priorities and opportunities and support implementation of programs
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related
  • Experience in providing advice and coaching to line managers in relation to employment law and people management matters
  • Experience working with enterprise agreements, analysing and forming insights and advising stakeholders in relation to terms and conditions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and be self-motivated
