This role involves supporting NDIS Participants in achieving their vocational goals and building sustainable career pathways through tailored employment support.
- Deliver hands-on and consultative support to participants, helping them develop and establish their vocational identity.
- Provide mentorship and skills development to increase people's capacity for work.
- Offer person-centred supports to participants transitioning from school to work.
- Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration.
- Support and consult with employers.
We welcome candidates from various backgrounds, including Youth Services, NDIS, Community Services and Employment Services. The ideal candidate is a resilient and creative problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Successful completion of a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement.
- Availability to travel for service delivery and participant support.
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
