About the Role
As a Support Worker at Peak Care Services, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential and live the life they choose. Your responsibility will be to provide person-centred support services that promote independence, self-advocacy, and community participation.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people who need your support and guidance. You will work under limited supervision, with readily available assistance, and have the autonomy to make decisions that impact the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide individualised support to clients with disabilities, promoting their independence and self-advocacy skills.
- To work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement support plans that meet individual needs.
- To maintain accurate records of client progress, including support plans, incident reports, and other relevant documentation.
- To contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements:
- Australian citizen or has Right to Work in Australia (must)
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Personal Care or above (must)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (must)
- First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (must)
- CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (must)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Experience working in SIL house (preferred)
- Experience assisting complex clients with behavioural issues
Schedule: Ongoing shift, 24/7 roster, 6-8 hours shift, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Sleepover
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
