About the Role

The Department of Education is seeking a skilled Project Officer (System Administration) to join the Professional and Ethical Standards Directorate. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and utilisation of the staff complaints system.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing robust processes for data collection and reporting
  • Providing expert advice and technical support for users
  • Collaborating with members of the team to implement strategic initiatives to enhance best practices in complaint management
  • Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation to drive continuous system improvements

Essential requirements of the role include:

  • Holding a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check)
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education

Key knowledge and experience include:

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. Your ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders effectively, and identify opportunities for process enhancements will be critical in delivering results.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Expertise in data analysis and research that will contribute to the development of strategic directions and improvement
  • Experience in effectively managing competing demands, amidst high-volume work environment and changing priorities
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, to enable you to communicate specialist advice and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience using and/or supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including Salesforce
