**Contract Safety Officer - Health Project**

CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to contribute to a significant health project in regional New South Wales.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implement and maintain safety management systems and procedures on-site.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Provide safety training and support to all site personnel.
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project team.

**Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry, preferably in health-related projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Cert IV in OH&S).
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
