Job Overview

This 6-month contract offers a competitive hourly rate and superannuation. As a key member of the Compliance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with building and environmental regulations, protecting the health and safety of the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate compliance issues related to breaches of local government, planning, and environmental legislation
  • Take appropriate enforcement action through education, fines, notices, orders, and directions
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries
Requirements
  • Qualification in Planning, Building Surveying, or a related field
  • Accreditation with NSW Fair Trading as a Building Inspector (A4)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Working knowledge of BCA and EPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
