We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Housekeeping Coordinator to work with our partner hotels in Sydney CBD.

About the Role:
  • Prepare daily work allocations for Room Attendants, ensuring correct credits and coverage of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records such as the housekeeping phone log, queue rooms, daily reports, maintenance requests, and lost property enquiries.
  • Update room status and communicate effectively with Supervisors, Front Desk, and Rooms Controller, prioritizing timely releases of priority rooms.
  • Handle guest complaints according to procedures, inform the Executive Housekeeper, and follow up on issues efficiently.
  • Manage the Lost and Found system, logging and storing items properly and securely.
  • Keep a well-organized filing system for daily reports and other documentation.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including liaison with the Post Office for guest parcels.
Key Requirements:
  • Possess passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold 2-3 years' experience in a hotel environment or similar setting
  • Able to handle guest complaints and manage priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety practices
  • Availability to work 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays
  • Police check and valid work rights in Australia required

You will have previous hospitality experience, attention to detail, professionalism, and a genuine interest in providing quality service. We encourage applications from qualified candidates.
