Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, upgrading, and proposing improvements to motor assessing documentation guidelines and processes.
  • Conducting and monitoring file reviews as part of the national quality review program.
  • Supporting management in the implementation of strategic initiatives to the assessing function.

Key performance indicators include maintaining high-quality assessments and supporting continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a panel beater, spray painter, or motor mechanic.
  • 5+ years' experience as a motor insurance assessor.
  • Expert knowledge of the smash repair industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
