Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor - Site Transition

The role of the Health & Safety Advisor is to ensure projects are completed safely by working closely with our HSE Energy Hubs & Construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Heavy Industrial, Construction/Demolition, and High-Risk Industries.

  • Safety Policy Development: Supporting the development, implementation, and review of H&S Policy, systems, and procedures.
  • Project Governance: Collaborating with projects to ensure compliance with AGL's HSE Project Governance Procedure and Contractor Management Framework.
  • HSE Initiatives: Contributing to business/ H&S initiatives and actions.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with construction and demolition works.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with accurate written and verbal communication, effective project management skills, strong analytical and conceptual skills, and strong risk management skills.

This role requires a tertiary qualification in WHS (Certificate IV minimum) and a proven track record in managing safety protocols in high-risk industries.
