Business Development Manager

The primary goal of this role is to lead the development of strategic partnerships and business growth initiatives. The focus will be on establishing a strong presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets, with a particular emphasis on the aerospace and maritime sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across products and services, with a clear path to contract acquisition.
  • Sustain a high level of order intake for services and product sales, exceeding regional and international targets.
  • Promote new services and drive innovative product offerings by spotting, recommending, and securing new market opportunities and product applications.
  • Oversee capture and bid teams or collaborate with relevant staff to ensure effective capture planning and execution, bid production, processes, and final submission meet time, quality, and solution specifications.
  • Influence client and market perspectives regarding CAE capabilities effectively.
  • Make actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements.
  • Maintain top-level relationships in opportunity target organisations and CAE executive engagements.
Strategic Leadership and Management:
  • Foster strong connections across the CAE D&S business units to ensure that ANZ can provide in-service support for DCS and FMS opportunities in the region.
  • Support the development and positioning of CAE capabilities to secure opportunities within the ANZ D&S market.
  • Stay informed about competitive market offerings and new technologies.
