Business Development Executive (ESG Product) - AUJoin our team as a Business Development Executive focusing on ESG products in Australia.
ESG and sustainability are rapidly evolving fields, with increasing reporting requirements worldwide.
Organizations face rising expectations from regulators and stakeholders such as customers, investors, employees, suppliers, and lenders.
We are expanding our ESG Business Development team to support our Convene ESG Software, which assists clients in their sustainability reporting journey, from compliance to advanced ESG governance.
As we grow our market presence and client base, we seek candidates with relevant experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or ratings/analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in ESG trends and a keen eye for data and disclosure quality.

Main Responsibilities: Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
Manage pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, bid preparation, pricing support, and achieving business targets.
Conduct follow-up customer training and support product implementation.
This role involves significant interaction with clients, partners, and internal teams via face-to-face meetings or other communication channels.
Activities include: Develop and maintain a sales pipeline within our CRM, pursuing leads and prospects.
Attend trade shows, potentially across different states.
Deliver presentations and proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
Stay informed about relevant legislation and best practices.
Report sales updates to senior management.
Experience:2-3 years of sales experience.1-2 years of ESG-related background.
Experience demonstrating products to potential clients, including C-Suite executives.
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Global perspective and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
