Transforming Children's Lives through Learning and Development

C&K is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of children in our care.

About the Role

The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for informing C&K's learning and development strategy, ensuring our programs support a capable and responsive workforce. You will have oversight of the policy, strategy, and initiatives that underpin the learning and development of our people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the implementation of an evidence-informed learning and development strategy for C&K's people that fosters a culture of professional learning for all employees.
  • Work in partnership with C&K Senior Leadership Team to determine learning needs, trends, and issues for the organisation and implement targeted capability solutions.
  • Manage and support the operational use of Learning Management System and content development for a range of organisational needs.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop systems for reporting and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, educational frameworks, and C&K policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain key government and non-government stakeholders to increase C&K's profile and influence policy and strategy to build future sustainability.

With extensive experience in the design and delivery of high-quality adult learning programs, you will collaborate across the organisation to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (within three months or willing to obtain these - we will cover the cost of both).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Adult Learning/Training, or Organisational Development.
  • Kirkpatrick certificate highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the early childhood education and care context and its frameworks.
