Medical Receptionist Job Description

The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional front-line service to patients and stakeholders in a fast-paced, professional medical environment.

  • Manage complex patient bookings via inbound and outbound calls
  • Deliver top-tier patient care, including registration, scheduling, and addressing queries
  • Handle inquiries from key stakeholders, including referrers
  • Communicate with medical professionals and assist with results and admin duties
  • Finalise billing and other essential support tasks

This role requires flexibility to work across both call centre and reception shifts.

About the Role:
We are seeking an organised and friendly individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. This full-time opportunity operates Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complex patient bookings management
  2. Patient care delivery, including registration, scheduling, and query resolution
  3. Inquiry handling for key stakeholders, including referrers
  4. Communication and assistance with medical professionals
  5. Task completion, including billing and administration
