About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Sydney. The successful candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

  • Key responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations and modeling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • In addition, they will be able to provide solutions and service to clients both on-site and off-site, working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment design, including knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices.
  • Familiarity with Australian standards and WSAA codes is also essential.
  • You will also need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
