Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of City Library, supervise staff, and collaborate with the Libraries & Museum team to deliver innovative programs and services.
- Lead a team of library professionals to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote literacy, lifelong learning, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver inspiring programs, events, and exhibitions that meet the diverse needs of the community.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics to inform decision-making and evaluate program success.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a library or related setting, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including staff, patrons, and community groups.
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated expertise in library operations, programming, and services, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices.
